International Brand Masters wanted

Here’s a question from the Educational Marketing Group:  Do you know someone who has achieved awesome things in higher education branding this past year? Now’s your chance to give them the attention and honor they so richly deserve.  http://bit.ly/bUBhxV

Nominate your pick for the prestigious International Brand Master Award 2010.  Individuals are able to nominate themselves.

Up to three finalists will be selected by a blue ribbon panel of judges: EMG senior consultants, prior Brand Master awardees, and experienced volunteers from the profession.  Marketing practitioners will then have the opportunity to vote for their candidate of choice from among the Finalists.   The winner will be announced through a variety of international communications venues and promotions, and will be honored at the Brand Manager’s Summit in October 2011.

Deadline for nominations is December 15, 2010.

The criteria for the International Brand Master Award is as follows:

  • Nominee must be a current higher education branding professional, anywhere in the world
  • Nominee must have at least 3 years of professional marketing experience in either a corporate or higher education setting
  • Nominee must have demonstrated skills and expertise in brand communications and marketing, should have an outstanding record of achievement during 2010, should be a model of ethical professional conduct, and should exemplify a willingness and ability to advance the marketing profession
